This job came from an elderly gentleman who was understandably a little nervous about having the work carried out, which isn’t unusual for older customers facing disruption on their own property, and it’s exactly the kind of job where being tidy and efficient on site actually matters most. His old gravel driveway was replaced with a new block paved driveway, laid in a herringbone pattern using Brett Landscaping blocks with a contrasting charcoal border, along with planted edging and a separate paved area finished in large format slabs near the entrance. By the end of the job, he was delighted, not just with the finished result, but with how quickly it was completed and how little mess was left behind along the way.
Scope: A full replacement of an existing gravel driveway with new block paving, using Brett Landscaping blocks, for a private residential property.
Features: The old gravel surface was cleared and excavated before the new sub base was prepared. Block paving was laid in a herringbone pattern with a contrasting charcoal border, alongside planted edging borders, proper drainage, and a separate large format paved area near the entrance.
Outcome: A complete driveway transformation, finished quickly and cleanly, that left the client delighted both with the result itself and with how considerately the work was carried out throughout.
